Qendra Volt is a many-channel AWG solution targeted towards voltage generation for trapped ions. It is based on Sinara (ARTIQ) hardware, using the Kasli-SoC and up to 8 Fastinos. We designed a ground-isolated digital input board for external triggering.
While we only slightly modified the Fastino firmware, we use our own magic on the main controller, the Kasli-SoC. Currently, all channels are triggered in parallel and are controlled by a single sequencer.
You can link multiple qendra volt systems to a single qendra pulse, supporting unprecedented scaling.
analog outputs
| Property | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Channels | up to 8 x 32 |
| Output voltage | ± 10 V |
| Sampling rate | 2.55 MSPS |
| Waveform storage per channel | 0.41 s |
| Total waveform storage | 512 MiB |
An efficient sequencer controls all 256 channels. It can chain waveforms with playback modifiers together into sequences. Reduce the sampling rate or play them back in reverse. Sequences can branch to other sequences, supporting in agile feedforward operations.
